How art-based healing works

You can learn to harness your creativity.

Art-based work is a powerful, transformative space for healing, connection, and self-discovery. I offer individual coaching and groups (both online and in-person in Los Angeles). I work with adult adoptees and those wanting to awaken their creativity.

Joining our art therapy groups means becoming part of a unique community. Through the creative process of art-making and guided discussions, you will have the opportunity to explore your unique journey, express complex emotions, and gain insights into your identity and sense of belonging. My groups provide a platform for validation, empathy, and mutual growth, where you can witness and be witnessed by others who have walked a similar path. Together, we will embark on a collective journey of healing, fostering connections, and embracing the richness of our shared experiences.

Experience the unique benefits of Museotherapy, which uses the museum or gallery environment for physical, psychological, and social well-being. Whether in groups or individually, this is a transformative experience. In January of 2023, I designed and ran a pilot program at LACMA (read about it here); I often run private programs in collaboration with the Wignall Museum of Contemporary Art. I also do private visits to museums and galleries with individual clients. Contact me directly about creating a group or an individual experience.

Individually, I tailor your experience to your needs and goals. We can work together once or schedule a pack of sessions.
